From Celebration to Compassion

Transform your simcha into an act of lasting kindness with a Mitzvah Project that brings comfort, dignity, and hope to cancer warriors in your community. We’ll guide you every step of the way.

Why It Matters

What makes this Mitzvah Project so meaningful

Lift Others While Celebrating

Your Mitzvah becomes more than a rite of passage — it becomes a tangible expression of tzedakah and hesed (kindness).

Local Connection, Lasting Care

Kits go directly to patients in your community. The difference is personal, visible, and lasting.

Thoughtful, Real-World Impact

We curate each Chemo Care Kit with essential items that bring relief during a difficult journey. Every item matters.

Inside the Kit

What’s inside each Chemo Care Kit

Comfort essentials like cozy socks, lip balm, hand cream, ginger chews, eye masks, journals, and more — each selected to ease common side effects and offer warmth during treatment.

Plus a soft, seat-belt-attached port pillow to cushion the chemo port and protect against discomfort during car rides.

Thank you so much… I truly appreciate all of the efforts you and your daughter have put into this remarkable project for our oncology patients. I am confident that both our patients and staff will be thrilled to welcome you into the infusion center.

How It Works

How to turn your Mitzvah into meaning

Pair fundraising with a hands-on Build Day to assemble complete Chemo Care Kits with friends and family.

  1. Fund the kit contents: We create a custom fundraising page you can share with family, friends, and community. Each kit costs about $10 for a standard 250-kit Build Day, and larger Build Days lower the per-kit cost (below).
  2. Find a port pillow maker: The port pillow attaches to the seat belt with Velcro, cushioning the chemo port. If you have a volunteer, we’ll provide sewing patterns; if not, we’ll connect you with our network of makers.
  3. Receive materials before Build Day: Once your fundraiser is complete, we order and ship all the materials to your chosen location.
  4. Host your 2-hour Build Day: Gather and pack the kits. Our step-by-step guide ensures everyone — from kids to grandparents — can help.
  5. Deliver locally: Drop the kits at your local cancer center (or we can help coordinate delivery) and receive photos and thank-yous showing the difference you made.

Bigger Build Days, lower cost per kit

Prefer a fundraising-only project? Each kit is $20, including all comfort items, our signature port pillow, and shipping to the cancer center of your choice anywhere in the U.S. We need a 30-day window from when fundraising ends until kits are delivered.
