2 Hours. 1,000 Chemo Care Kits. Local Impact.
In just two hours, your group can bring comfort, dignity, and hope to up to 1,000 local cancer patients. We’ll guide you every step of the way.
A hands-on way to make a difference
This is more than an event — it’s a chance to come together, connect, and create something that truly matters. Your group spends two hours packing Chemo Care Kits, but the impact is felt long after your Build Day is over.
We supply the kit-contents order list, provide clear instructions (and why each component matters), and help you connect with a local cancer center if you don’t already have one in mind.
Anyone can host a Build Day
No matter your size or setting, a Chemo Care Kit Build Day unites people in a shared mission of kindness.

Workplaces

Five steps to your Build Day
Host a Build Day to assemble complete Chemo Care Kits with your organization.
- Fund the kit contents: Each kit costs about $10 for a standard 250-kit Build Day. Larger Build Days benefit from bulk pricing (below).
- Find a port pillow maker: The port pillow attaches to the seat belt with Velcro, cushioning the chemo port. If you have a volunteer, we’ll provide sewing patterns; if not, we’ll connect you with our network of makers.
- Receive materials before Build Day: We order and ship all the materials to your chosen location.
- Host your 2-hour Build Day: Gather and pack the kits. Our step-by-step guide ensures everyone can help.
- Deliver locally: Drop the kits at your local cancer center, or we can help coordinate delivery.
Bigger Build Days, lower cost per kit
Prefer to fundraise instead? A fundraising-only project is $20 per kit, including all comfort items, the port pillow, and shipping to the cancer center of your choice.
